Monday - Today we watched videos on art and discussed what we think about art and meaning and it has for us.
Tuesday - Today we went over sketchbook expectations. Students turned in their syllabus. They will need their sketchbooks by tomorrow.
Wednesday - Today is sketchbook day. Students created an artwork in their sketchbooks.
Thursday - Each student was given a piece of paper with a 1/4 circle in a square. They then could create any kind of artwork in the square with the 1/4 circle as long as it shows creativity, craftsmanship and filled the space. Each artwork the students create is to become part of a larger artwork.
Friday - Today I introduced our first project the Name Transformation Project and showed students some examples. They then worked on a brainstorming handout and planning sketches.
